A Democrat Went to a Trump Rally to Try and Understand MAGA-Lovers

We invited Lucas Meyer, the president of the Young Democrats of New Hampshire, to attend the rally with VICE News and talk to Trump’s fanatical supporters about why they love him so much. He agreed to attend because it’s “instructive to experience.”
MAGATS bear a great similarity to internet trolls. A Trump troll is a person who acts inflammatory, insincere, digressive, extraneous, in your face and oblivious to reality. They take their cues from conservative media who intentionally grooms and gaslights them into triggered emotional responses like anger, hatred towards the Left all with the grand goal of directing them into the voting booth.
