2-Headed Goat Born to Shocked Wisconsin FarmersInside Edition 7.35M subscribers Farmers in Wisconsin got quite a surprise when one of their goats went into labor and was having some trouble delivering. When farmer Jocelyn Nueske inspected what was going on, she says she realized the kid being born had two heads! She doesn’t know the cause of the condition or if it’s life-threatening, but Janus the goat seems to be just as curious and energetic as any other newborn. InsideEdition.com’s Mara Montalbano has more. Two-Headed Goat Born in Wisconsinwww.coasttocoastam.com/article/two-headed-goat-born-in-wisconsin/ April 14, 2020 By Tim Binnall
A family farm in Wisconsin has a wondrous addition to their livestock collection in the form of a two-headed goat that eats with both of its mouths. The remarkable creature was reportedly born last week at Nueske Farms in the village of Wittenberg. Jocelyn Nueske discovered the two-headed kid when one of the farm's goats was giving birth and experiencing what seemed to be a particularly difficult delivery.
"I couldn't figure out what was going on at first," she recalled, "it took me a little bit to realize that the two heads were connected." The family subsequently decided to keep the creature as a pet, naming him Janus after the two-faced Roman god. Although they were concerned about the animal's prospects for survival, the goat has seemingly thrived so far and even feeds out of a bottle with both mouths.
Janus has also become something of a star on social media as the Nueske Farms has posted a bevy of pictures and videos of the two-headed creature on their Facebook page since it arrived into this world. According to them, an examination of the animal by a local veterinarian on Monday determined that he is a "normal baby goat" aside from his two heads and that he "appears to have one stomach and singular major organs."

A wild video out of Chile shows a pair of massive condors sizing up a group of frightened poodles that were, fortunately, protected by a window. The unsettling scene was reportedly captured by Gabriela Leonardi while on lockdown at her penthouse apartment in the city of Las Condes last week and subsequently posted on her TikTok account.
In the video, which can be seen below, the monstrous birds of prey can be seen perched outside Leonardi's window watching the diminutive dogs that would likely have wound up becoming a meal were they not protected by the glass. To that end, the poodles eventually seem to realize that they are safe and one particularly pugnacious pup presses up against the window as if to challenge the condors.
Leonardi's footage went viral on social media in Chile, amassing over 100,000 viewers in just a few days. Since the condors living around the city are known to scavenge food left behind by residents, it is speculated that they were particularly hungry because the coronavirus lockdown has turned the city into a veritable ghost town.

STRANGE NEWS Another Mysterious Monolith Suddenly Appears — This Time In Romania www.npr.org/2020/12/01/940441737/another-mysterious-monolith-suddenly-appears-this-time-in-romania December 1, 20208:36 AM ET COLIN DWYER
Second mysterious monolith appears in Romania, weeks after one found in Utah desert
Cue the X-Files theme, folks. The monolith mystery has deepened.
Less than two weeks after authorities stumbled across a mysterious metal object standing freely in the Utah desert — and just days after it disappeared — a similar monolith has been reported nearly halfway around the world. Residents in the Romanian city of Piatra Neamt say they have found another odd item that could have been ripped from the set of 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The local newspaper reports that the monolith, like the one discovered in Utah, is about 10 to 12 feet tall and apparently composed entirely of a dimly reflective metal. It was reportedly found standing on the Bâtca Doamnei plateau, near an archaeological site overlooking the city. Jurnal FM, a local radio station, recorded video of the purported object, revealing an eye-aching sheen and looped markings along its surface.
Andrei Carabelea, mayor of Piatra Neamt, appears to be taking the news in stride.
"There is no reason to panic for those who think there is still life in the universe," Carabelea quipped, according to a translation by The Independent. The statement was posted to Facebook after the discovery surfaced Friday.
"My guess is that some alien, cheeky and terrible teenagers left home with their parents' UFO and started planting metal monoliths around the world. First in Utah and then at Piatra Neamt," he added. "I am honored that they chose our city."
Large Metal Monolith Mysteriously Appears In Remote Region Of Utah's Red Rock Country STRANGE NEWS Large Metal Monolith Mysteriously Appears In Remote Region Of Utah's Red Rock Country The monolith in Utah disappeared less than 10 days after officers from the state's Department of Public Safety first spotted it. Authorities professed their utter confusion at its presence in Utah's Red Rock Country.
They were no less confused by its sudden disappearance overnight Friday. An adventure photographer said that he spotted four men dismantling the structure, according to The New York Times.
All that was left of the structure Saturday morning was "a triangular metal piece that used to be on top and a hole where the base of the tower stood," according to The Salt Lake Tribune. The Bureau of Land Management denied moving the structure.
As for the monolith in Romania, Carabelea said that while he had no answers himself, he would not be upset if the newfound mystery happened to attract tourists to his city.
"Beyond the conspiracy theories that can be tempting," he added, "I'd like to see this randomness as further proof that our city is special. For the earthlings and (maybe) not only."

Listen To The Eerie Sound That's Freaking Out An Oregon Town (greatly annoys my cats and makes me feel ill)An eerie flute-like sound is driving citizens of one Oregon town bananas.
Aliens, ghosts and leaking gas pipes have all been touted as possible explanations for the high-pitched, whistle-like note heard at random times in Forest Grove over the past few weeks. But residents can't figure out where it's coming from, and experts are equally stumped.
Here's what it sounds like:
The noise strikes at all times of the day and night, and lasts from 10 seconds to several minutes.
"I've been woken up three or four times," local resident Colleen Ahrens told KATU. "It almost sounds like someone needs to change their brakes."
Fire, police and public works officials have investigated the noise that's plaguing the community of 22,500, about 25 miles west of Portland, but to no avail.
Forest Grove Police Capt. Mike Herbs said if someone was making the noise on purpose, then it was a city ordinance violation.
"At this point, we don't have information that would lead us to believe that's the case," Herbs told The Washington Post.
He added that some people thought the sound could be "an alien mother ship or a warning sign of something to come."

Missing Henry McCabe | Posted October 23, 2015 | Minneapolis, Minnesota
Henry McCabe is missing from Mounds View, Minnesota. Henry was last seen at a gas station on September 7th, 2015 in Fridley, Minnesota. Henry left a very disturbing voicemail message to a family member and authorities have asked the Public to assist in searching for Henry McCabe. Volunteers have held searches in the area where Henry was last seen, and a $10.000.00 reward is offered for information leading to the whereabouts of Henry McCabe. Henry is a State Auditor, a husband, and a father.
follow-up:
Body found in lake is missing Mounds View man Henry McCabe Henry McCabe, husband and father of two, had not been seen since Labor Day.
A body found Monday afternoon in a north-metro lake was identified Tuesday as that of 32-year-old Henry McCabe, a Mounds View resident who was reported missing on Labor Day.
McCabe’s death “does not appear to be suspicious,” but the cause remains undetermined pending toxicology results, said Police Chief Tom Kinney.
The Ramsey County medical examiner’s office confirmed that it was McCabe’s body that was found by a kayaker about 4:20 p.m. Monday on Rush Lake in New Brighton.
Kinney said the medical examiner found no signs of injury on McCabe’s body.
But a leader in the Twin Cities’ Liberian community said Tuesday that investigators shouldn’t rule out the possibility that McCabe’s death was linked to violence in his home country, where he survived 14 years of civil war.

But a leader in the Twin Cities’ Liberian community said Tuesday that investigators shouldn’t rule out the possibility that McCabe’s death was linked to violence in his home country, where he survived 14 years of civil war.
“They would kill without remorse. They’ve done it for years,” Lovetta Tugbeh said of some Liberians who have immigrated to the U.S. “We need to find out what happened.”
McCabe was last seen during the early hours of Sept. 7 after having been dropped off at a convenience store in Fridley for unknown reasons. That location is at least 6 miles from where his body was found.
Recent searches began near the intersection of Silver Lake Road and Mississippi Street at Creekview Park in New Brighton, the location of the last call placed from McCabe’s cellphone.
His wife answered that call, at 2:28 a.m. on Labor Day, to hear what sounded like moaning and screams.
David Singleton, the chief executive of Minnesota Community Policing Services, said Tuesday he thinks someone else was involved in McCabe’s death.
“I don’t believe that he just wandered that far on his own and the audio doesn’t support the idea that his death is not suspicious,” Singleton said.
His association had offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to McCabe’s recovery, but it rescinded the reward on Oct. 23 after a fallout with McCabe’s wife because of “her willingness to mislead the public and this committee,” Singleton alleged then.
Since the disappearance, McCabe hadn’t been in contact with his family or his employer, the Minnesota Department of Revenue, where he was an auditor. He has two daughters, 10 and 2.
Tugbeh, of the Coalition for Justice in Liberia, described McCabe as a well-educated family man who wouldn’t intentionally disappear.
“I don’t think somebody would just drown himself,” she said. “Somebody was inflicting harm.”
Tugbeh said McCabe and his wife, Kareen, were part of the Liberian-American community in California before moving to Minnesota.
More than 25,000 people with roots in Liberia live in Minnesota, she said. The Liberian-American community was on edge because McCabe’s disappearance came after 10-year-old Barway Collins went missing from Crystal in March.
The boy’s body was found in the Mississippi River, and his father, Pierre Collins, admitted in August to killing him.
McCabe’s case remains under investigation, Kinney said Tuesday.
“Sad ending for a good person,” Singleton said.

Had President Garfield not been on a metal coil mattress when Alexander Graham Bell tried to use an invention to detect the exact location of the bullet in the president's body might he have lived? And if so would this have altered history dramatically considering Chester Arthur and Garfield's assassination brought about civil service reform??
By all accounts I believe Garfield would have been one of our greatest Presidents had he lived just as Robert F Kennedy was our greatest President that never was. Amazing the difference a good mattress can make. Some interesting parallels to today's politics.
deadpresidents deadpresidents Said:
There’s definitely a lot of evidence that argues that Alexander Graham Bell’s “induction balance” – which was basically an early version of a metal detector – likely would have found the bullet in President Garfield’s body if not for the mattress he was laying on. The two best books on the Garfield assassination – Kenneth D. Ackerman’s Dark Horse: The Surprise Election and Political Murder of President James A. Garfield (BOOK|KINDLE) and Candice Millard’s Destiny of the Republic: A Tale of Madness, Medicine, and the Murder of a President (BOOK|KINDLE) – say as much.
Of course, the best thing that Garfield’s doctors could have done for him was to leave the bullet inside him, dress his wounds, and refrain from poking and prodding him with their dirty fingers and unsterilized instruments. It wasn’t the bullet that killed Garfield; it was the infections introduced to his body from the poor medical care he received.
William McKinley’s death was eerily similar to Garfield’s. McKinley died almost exactly 20 years after Garfield, on September 14, 1901 (Garfield died September 19, 1881). The official cause of McKinley’s death was gangrene that had developed along the track of the bullet that pierced McKinley’s abdomen – an infection that likely could have been prevented with safer medical practices. Alexander Graham Bell’s induction balance wasn’t effective because of the mattress that Garfield was laying on. McKinley was shot at the Pan-American Exposition where a medical X-ray machine was being exhibited, but McKinley’s doctors didn’t think to use it. Like Bell and his metal detector, another legendary American inventor – Thomas Edison – offered the use of his X-ray prototype to President McKinley’s doctors, but they didn’t accept. In both assassinations, the doctors helped finish the job started by the assassins.
We know that hindsight is 20/20 and that the technological advances that we saw in the 20th Century were either unknown or untested when Garfield and McKinley were shot, so perhaps its unfair to put too much blame on the doctors. I’m not a medical expert, but my belief is that Garfield, who was a healthy, robust, strong, 49-year-old man could have survived – even in 1881 – if his doctors had been more careful. McKinley was older than Garfield, his health was not as solid as Garfield’s, and his wounds were more serious, so maybe he would have died either way, but I definitely think Garfield could have survived with better medical care.
If either shooting had happened later in the 20th Century, they both would have probably survived. Ronald Reagan was 70 years old when he was shot in 1981, and Reagan’s gunshot wound was significantly more dangerous than Garfield’s or McKinley’s. The bullet that struck President Reagan punctured and collapsed one of his lungs, lodged just an inch away from his heart, and caused him to lose 30%-40% of his blood. The quick reaction of Reagan’s Secret Service agents, who didn’t even realize the President had been shot until they were speeding away from the scene of the shooting, almost certainly saved Reagan’s life. Doctors later said that Reagan probably would have been dead had he arrived at the hospital five minutes later than he did.
I kind of went off on a tangent there, so let me bring it back around to answer the second part: James Garfield was about as progressive as Republicans got before Theodore Roosevelt hit the scene, and civil service reform was going to be on Garfield’s agenda. Garfield probably would have had a more difficult time passing it than President Arthur did, but I do think Garfield would have brought about reform. President Arthur, to his credit, saw that not only was civil service reform necessary, but that Garfield’s assassination by a disgruntled office seeker who sought a patronage position that he felt he deserved was a rallying cry for pushing through the reforms. Garfield’s assassination and the shocking revelation that Arthur, who was a product of the corrupt spoils system, was leading the fight for reform made it almost impossible to vote against the Pendleton Act.
