Today's CONservative movement was created and funded by wealthy elites and transnational corporations beginning with former Supreme Court justice Lewis Powell (Powell Memorandum) to do their bidding on the ground and in the election process. It is an elaborate and nefarious system that has been quite successful for these people. Hitler and Goebbels would be jealous of what they accomplished using CIA Cold War tactics to elicit membership, build and nurture a (conservative) base as they have. Actually it is masterful. While many of us think of conservatives as mindless, ignorant and compliant stooges are they solely responsible for the damage they are doing to our country OR ARE THOSE PULLING THE STRINGS BEHIND THEM the responsible ones?
While rank and file conservatives and their corporate whores in congress are the shooters who pull the trigger, there are other individuals who not only contributed to the events but remote controlled it.

A Michigan prosecutor on Friday filed involuntary manslaughter charges against the parents of the teenage suspect in the deadly shooting at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, Mich.
At a press conference in Pontiac, Mich., Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald announced the charges against Jennifer and James Crumbley, whose 15-year-old son, Ethan, is alleged to have carried out Tuesday's rampage, which left four students dead and seven others, including a teacher, injured.
"While the shooter was the one who entered the high school and pulled the trigger, there are other individuals who contributed to the events on Nov. 30," McDonald said. "And it is my intention to hold them accountable. It is imperative that we prevent this from happening again. No other parent or community should have to live through this nightmare."
