Nina Ronstadt Hoag 1/17/1946 - 12/2/2011 Born in Tucson, Nina grew up on the Santa Margarita Ranch at the base of Baboquivari Peak and the Aqua Linda Farm in Amado. Raised by her parents Carlos and Betty Ronstadt, she graduated from Palo Verde High School and attended Stratford College, Danville, VA. She then traveled the world as a stewardess for American Airlines until retiring to a second career as a well-known travel agent in Tucson.
She married Hal Hoag 27 years ago. Upon Hal's retirement from the Ashton Company, Inc., Contractors and Engineers, they moved to their ranch in Mule Creek, New Mexico and built their "dream house," a beautiful log cabin. She spent the last thirteen years in the scenic Mule Creek Valley, enjoying nature, long walks, yoga and her church. Nina has joined her mom and dad and leaves behind her husband, Hal, her brother, Karl (Shari) Ronstadt and nephew Carlos D. Ronstadt (Sherry) of Phoenix and three nieces, Cathy Jolma (Peter), Flagstaff; Robin Patch (Jeff), Tucson; and Nina Klestinec (Ken), San Diego; all who loved her very much. Nina dearly loved, and will also be missed by, Hal's children, Beth, Amy and Kevin.
Arrangements for her memorials (to be held after January 1, 2012) are being made in Tucson and Mule Creek. For information on the Tucson Memorial, contact Robin Patch at robinpatch@att.net. Arrangements by BRIGHT FUNERAL HOME.
