I know. I was just having this conversation today with a friend. The solution is to go solar on your home roof although even those panels are made up of petroleum components. The other alternative is to have a solar roof on the vehicle.
And a BIG problem with those batteries is they don't last long here in the desert because of the heat. Maybe a few years. A replacement battery costs thousands. And now the news is littered with thief's stealing catalytic converters but especially from electric vehicles. Must be the hybrid ones though as why would an electric vehicle need a catalytic converter?
