One only need look at (read) the United States Constitution as the perfect example of systemic/systematic racism at its core. Our founders (liberal and conservatives) made a lot of immoral compromises to create this country. Some I believe truly thought these immoral moves would not last or could be changed through the amendment process and were willing to tolerate them at the expense of non-white residents of the USA including the unwilling Africans brought here as slaves as well as our indigenous peoples.
