I never knew Linda to smoke. Her brother Michael said she never smoked so this site and these photos are confounding. While holding a cigarette (questionable) we don't see her actually smoking but it looks like some are trying to make it look that way on the web.

Obviously photoshopped. I have seen this photo without the hand holding the cigarette.
Both of these look like Bic pens to me although the above photo could be a pencil as it is shorter.
The only time I know of Linda mentioning cigarettes was on the Dick Cavett Show (early 70s). She referenced Virginia Slims advertising where it was "longer than a mans" which was an obvious phallic symbol comparison. This was during a conversation about the women's movement.
