Seems to me the Palestinian "problem" is not with Israel. It is with their own Palestinian leadership. It is with their hatred for Jews. This is the old "let's cut off our nose to spite our face" ideology.
While Israel is supposedly a democracy they really shouldn't be. Allowing non-Jews to take over their government via the democratic process would be disastrous. It is kind of like allowing conservatives to take over and destroy the American government here in the US. They are all about destruction and against progress. Because of the inherent antisemitism in the world the Jews MUST have their OWN homeland where they can be safe and protect themselves. Even America cannot be depended on if another Trump like conservauthoritarian takes power.
When the Ottoman Empire was divvied up Jews were ousted from the many Arab countries that were formed. There was no Palestinian people, just Arabs. The Palestinian people as defined today were Arabs living in the now area of Israel. They could have moved to any number of newly formed Arab nations just as the Jews had to move. But like CONservatives in this country they seem content to play the victim putting Israel in a no win situation. That leaves the area rife for conflict. Don't blame Israel. Just fact check and look at history.
