Songs and albums by Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Kenny Rogers and more have inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
"We are proud to announce this year's diverse roster of GRAMMY Hall Of Fame inductees and to recognize recordings that have shaped our industry and inspires music makers of tomorrow," Harvey Mason jr., Chair and Interim President/CEO of the Recording Academy, said.
He added, "Each recording has had a significant impact on our culture, and it is an honor to add them to our distinguished catalog."
Springsteen's debut album Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J., Pearl Jam's landmark 1991 debut Ten, and Rogers' No. 1 country song "The Gambler" were among the 29 new titles being inducted this year.
The list also includes Patti Smith's Horses, the Beastie Boys' Licensed to Ill, The Cars' eponymous album and Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble's Texas Flood.
Each year, the Academy chooses recordings for induction that are at least 25 years ago and "exhibit qualitative or historical significance."
Journey's iconic hit "Don't Stop Believin'," Peter Gabriel's 1986 album So, and Linda Ronstadt's Canciones de Mi Padre also made the list.
"We Are the World," the charity single originally recorded by the supergroup USA for Africa in 1985, is also being inducted.
