The biggest news of the day is President Trump pardoning General Michael Flynn, which he announced on Twitter just after 4 o’clock today, I’m going to read you that out:
It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @genflynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!
So if you don’t know Flynn, Trump’s former national security advisor, has been embroiled in a lawsuit where the department of justice have already dropped the case, but judge Emmet Sullivan has continued despite there not being a prosecution.
Trump pardoning Flynn could be looked at in two ways, 1 a final move to help out an ally before he leaves office. Or 2 is Flynn being pardoned for a reason, Sidney Powell, who is Flynn’s lawyer is going to be filing her lawsuit about election manipulation by the Company Dominion using smartmatic software today. Now she has spent a lot of time with Flynn, it is possible, and this is just me presuming, but it is possible Flynn could be a witness in this case.
The affidavit Powell has made public came from a former Venezualan military official who was involved with the dominion systems rigging elections in that country. Flynn is also military, he was head of the Defense Intelligence Agency for two years. Is it possible that he has evidence of election manipulation from his time with the US military that since he is now out of legal limbo, he could now potentially present in a case filed by powell? In other words, is Flynn the Kraken?
So Sidney powell has been talking about releasing a Kraken in this election lawsuit. Flynn probably knows a lot about it and more on the actions of Obama era officials. One interesting thing is Powell and Flynn have both changed their twitter banners to this We the people. So there is some coordination between them, we will have to see what comes next...
Then in other news a court in Pennsylvania ruled that the state must halt certification of the election result, which has been rushed through unusually fast this year. In 2016 the state certified its election results on December 12th.
This halt in the certification process is because of a lawsuit filed by republican law makers claiming the state’s vote by mail law, act 77, is in violation of the Pennsylvania constitution.
The judge ordered the certification process halted until after a hearing on Friday November 27th the day after thanksgiving.
Then speaking of thanksgiving, we have more governors trying to restrict people’s freedom around the festival. Governor of Oregon Kate Brown has ordered thanksgiving gatherings be no larger than 6 people from no more than two households. She has urged neibors to call the cops if they see such a gathering. Here is what she said”
Look, this is no different than what happens if there’s a party down the street and it’s keeping everyone awake. What do neighbors do? They call law enforcement because it’s too noisy,
What is the penalty for breaking this order? Up to 30 days in jail or a fine of up to $1250 or both. If the police choose to enforce it.. Which is a big if. Police departments in New York city for example have said they will not enforce governor Cuomo’s thanksgiving order, their time would be better spent elsewhere. So it will be interesting to see what happens in Oregon tomorrow.
