We are proud to share our new video 'You're Moving Out Today' with the corresponding hashtag #MoveTrumpOut made in collaboration with Bette Midler.
We were honored to learn that Bette was a big fan of MeidasTouch and it goes without saying we have all been long admirers of her legendary career and her political advocacy and fighting for equality and civil rights.
The original song in the video ‘Move Out Trump’ was written by Bette Midler along with the prolific and talented singer and songwriters Carole Bayer Sager and Bruce Roberts.
The MeidasTouch video highlights the many ways Trump is intolerable, un-American, and the most dangerous threat facing the country. The lighthearted approach of the music video and song, while discussing the sobering reality of Donald’s failed leadership, seeks to break through the noise of the yelling and screaming in political discourse and focus our attention on the undeniable realities.
Trump is a deadly parody of leader in a Banana Republic let loose like a bull in a china shop to run roughshod on our democracy. The song and music video seeks to capture that essence in a manner that is more easily digestible (though still potentially puke inducing).
