www.peacock-panache.com/About Us
Founded in 2012, Peacock Panache is a news analysis blog focused primarily on civil rights, LGBTQ activism, church/state issues, women’s rights, and politics.
We’ve been featured/cited in national publications and websites including the LA Times, Project Q Atlanta, JoeMyGod, ThinkProgress, the Huffington Post, Towleroad, the Dallas Voice, Queerty, the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF), Jezebel, Instinct Magazine, LGBTQ Nation, The Daily Banter, Bear World Magazine, Television Without Pity, Salon, and Wonkette.
Though it currently only has one primary full-time writer (founder Tim Peacock), Peacock Panache features several regular contributors, accepts regular guest posts and is always on the lookout for new contributors looking for a blog to get their message out.
The Fine Print:
We do this for the love of news and politics – we literally don’t make any money from this blog. That being said, we don’t employ editors, full time writers or pundits. On top of that most of us have day jobs we write around. We’re going to make the occasional error – and when we do, we note it with updates. If the error is factual, we’ll note the error; if the error is spelling or grammatical in nature, we’ll update the article and hope you never saw the original error.
We also subscribe to EFF’s Bloggers’ Rights – and if you’re a writer with an online presence, you should too.
