Will these protesters ever connect the dots between these racists and conservatism? The political home for these racists was in the Democratic Party of the South. Home to Confederates which were the conservatives of their day. In the 1960s liberal Democrats from the South joined with Northern Democrats to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The following year they passed the Voting Rights Act which was too much for conservatives (confederates) to take. They fled to the Republican Party like flies to shit where they reside today. While not all conservatives are racists, all racists are conservative.
