More about this event
Linda Ronstadt is one of the biggest selling artists in history thanks to timeless hits such as “When Will I Be Loved”, “You’re No Good” and "Blue Bayou” but she is much more than her record sales. Her career is a mix of unprecedented musical versatility, female empowerment, and a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. In “The Story Of Linda Ronstadt”, the superstar’s powerful stories and beloved songs are brought to life by award winning singer and actress Andrea House whose strong yet nimble voice creates an authentic experience of Ronstadt’s iconic sound. Coupled with a full band and an immersive multimedia presentation, the show is an unforgettable and uplifting celebration of the life and legacy of one of the most admired and inspirational women in music both on and off the stage.

AUG 11, 2020 Andrea House carries a tray of fish at Fringe and discovers a music career #FRINGESPOT
If you’re a regular CKUA listener – or an irregular one – you’ve probably heard the lovely music of Edmonton singer/songwriter Andrea House.
Before she started recording music, she was one of hundreds of young actors cutting their teeth at Edmonton’s International Fringe Theatre Festival.
Those Fringe experiences gave her the confidence and the opportunity to pursue music. Andrea House spoke with Peter Brown about the Fringe, her music, and the role CKUA has played in her career.
