Independent voice for Arizona? Say what? You mean a voice for HEDGE FUNDS, BIG PHARMA over average working Arizonans trying to get by on minimum wage jobs and HIGH prescription drug costs! I will be doing the "Sinema CURTSY" when I cast my ballot against this shill for wealthy elites, bankers and corporations. With that record she should have run as a Republican where she might have some chance of saving face, minimally. Oh, and I forgot I will be doing the famous Sinema THUMBS DOWN when I curtsy.
Did you forget about the Wall Street carried-interest deal for the wealthy. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema reached a deal Thursday to back the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. A carried-interest tax provision was cut from the bill. The provision sought to narrow a loophole allowing wealthy investors to pay lower taxes. See the article titled, Sen. Kyrsten Sinema agreed to the Inflation Reduction Act but cut the carried-interest tax provision — here's what that means for wealthy investors, at Insider.
Kyrsten Sinema, according to Forbes, has a net worth of $11 million in 2022. Her senate salary is $180,000 a year. She has a monthly income of $500K. Her estimated net worth in 2018 was $32,500. Yes, Virginia, there is a ... oops, I mean, corporations are people.
I live in Arizona, and I think she's in trouble because she waited until she was reelected in November and then changed her party affiliation. That was defrauding her supporters. She should have been honest and upfront about her plans so the voters could make a decision based on current information. I know that she and Mr. Manchin have been lone wolves for some time, but I will never vote for her NOT because she changed her party but because she was dishonest about it. She is given that lucrative job because people voted for her, but in my opinion she has been as dishonest as Satanos. We don't work for her, she works for us, and she's lost my support. It was a very selfish thing to do -- after she was elected as a Dem.
Arizona might well be a good place for a moderate independent to win. But in order to do, the candidate would have to be sincere and loyal to policy stands. Sinema has been neither and the general impression is that she’s an insincere candidate who does that which will get her the most attention and votes for whatever she calculates is in her own best interests rather than the best interests of her constituents or the country. She can’t win, but will likely give the Republicans the seat because Gallego will not be able to draw Republican moderates (unless the Republicans nominate a nut case like Lake). Unfortunately, Gallego represents the part of the party that cannot attract moderate independents and Republicans and for the Dems to win this seat (and many others) in 2024, they need to run a moderate candidate - but they have failed (and refused) to learn that lesson in 2022 (and prior years) and instead have chosen “message” candidates rather than winning candidates.
The left starts turning on its own,It was predictable. Anyone that goes against the left gets the same treatment. Reply The left turned? No it was Sinema who lied, failed to show up to vote, pretended she was John McCain, sold out to the money, and then thought she could outsmart the Dems who voted for her. It is more like she turned. She was never a left. She is con drama queen that needs to be the center of attention and then babbles out the side of her mouth. She will soon have a new career.
Kristen Sinema is to the DEMOCRATS what GEORGIE SANTOS is to the REPUBLICANS, FRAUD, LIAR and FAKE! Neither stand for the people, but they STAND FOR THEMSELVES!
