I guess phosphorus and potassium are two dangerous minerals in those with kidney disease and other supplements may be doing more harm than good. If you have kidney issues and take supplements it may be wise to start researching this.
I was surprised that Flaxseed should be avoided for those with kd. One specialist just told me to take it instead of fish oil. Now I learn this. One doctor tells you one thing and another something completely different. No wonder so many are sick. Maybe Food as Medicine with good gut supplements i.e. pre and probiotcs are the way to go. An occasional vitamin c for colds, flu, etc. on short term may be ok.
