The House voted to protect women’s right to access birth control and other contraception; 195 Republicans voted no.
To outlaw contraception? Self-righteous autocratic Senate Republicans will block any action on these bills, regardless.
The House voted to guarantee that women can travel across state lines for an abortion; 205 Republicans voted no.
Republicans want to outlaw abortion country-wide, not just in the right-wing, Southern evangelical states intent on imposing their own radical Christian beliefs on everyone else. Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus don’t share those beliefs, but the Supreme Court has picked one religion as the only true faith: white supremacist Christianity, institutional Christian sharia.
The right for libraries to have whatever books they want
the right to be free of fear from homicidal gun owners,
the freedom to vote without onerous restrictions….
In fact Republicans have been pretty upfront about not really wanting democracy to work anymore in this country either.
They think they’re better than you, based on their wealth or skin color or their ideology.
They spend every waking moment finding new ways to gain control over others.
They don’t really care to think you’re a living, breathing, human being. They’re the ultimate dehumanizers.
Republicans are always accusing Dems as wanting to take away your rights so lets just take a look . Republicans say "Dems want to take away your rights ,oh by the way we are taking away your right to vote.""Dems want to take away your rights, oh by the way we are taking away your right to form a Union.""Dems are taking away your rights, oh by the way we are taking away your rights to healthcare."Dems want to take away your rights.oh by the way we are taking away your rights to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.""Dems want to take away your rights,oh by the way we want to take away your rights to an education." " Dems want to take away your rights,oh by the way we are taking away your rights to a decent living wage and a safety net."i could go on and on . So who is taking away your rights? why do Republicans always have to whine and cry about everything, why dont they grow up and act like adults and act like Americans first.Put America first, all of america and stop taking away rights because you happen to disagree with them, believe me alot of us wish we could take away alot of your rights, but we as true Americans respect the law and compromise. So the next time you see or hear a Republican whine and cry about Dems wanting to take away your rights, you know better.
