This is a good example of what the right wing noise machine does. As if any Republican president is beholden to them for his position. And god forbid that president do the right thing if it goes against what the right wing believes should happen.
Tucker Carlson Turns On Trump: 'What Was The Point Of Running For President?' Ed Mazza,HuffPost 16 hours ago
Fox News host Tucker Carlson has been a staunch defender of President Donald Trump, but that may have changed on Tuesday.
Carlson called it a “weird scene” when Trump met with lawmakers of both parties and indicated he’d sign just about any deal they make on immigration.
“I’m not going to say, ‘Oh, gee, I want this or I want that,’” Trump said. “I’ll be signing it, because I have a lot of confidence in the people in this room that you’re going to come up with something really good.”
Trump also indicated a willingness to protect young undocumented immigrants, known as the Dreamers.
Carlson said that’s a “completely different Donald Trump” from the one that talked tough on immigration on the campaign trail.
Carlson said: “Congress is full of people from both parties who believe that the point of our immigration policy is to provide cheap labor to their donors and to atone for America’s imaginary sins against the world.
They couldn’t care less about immigration’s effect on you or your family. Yet these are the same people the president now says he trusts to write the immigration bill, the one he will sign no matter what it says. So what was the point of running for president?”
Carlson also noted that Trump boasts about his negotiating skills.
“He clearly has skills as a negotiator,” Carlson said. “Where were they today?”
The Fox News host also said Democrats are trying to “import more Democratic voters.”
“Once they retake the Congress and the presidency ― and if Trump betrays his base on immigration, that’ll definitely happen ― it is over,” Carlson said. “Say goodbye to borders. They are done.”

Quote by ronstadtfanaz: Clearly, Tucker Carlson is an idiot. Trump has no skills as a negotiator whatsoever, and never has had them; his way of getting things is to bully others, and now he is getting a small taste of his own medicine (IMHO).

This type of so called journalism is disturbing on every level imaginable. But this is what they do and this is how they win elections for Republicons. WSJ debunks Murdoch-fueled conspiracy theory on FBI texts and Obama The conspiracy theory, which was debunked by WSJ and others, was heavily pushed by Fox News and other right-wing outlets
Research ››› February 7, 2018 7:04 PM EST ››› CRISTINA LóPEZ G.
The latest right-wing media ‘scandal,’ has completely fallen apart after The Wall Street Journal and others debunked several facets of the story. Fox News spent the day pushing Sen. Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) claim that a text message between FBI lawyer Lisa Page and agent Peter Strzok referring to preparing talking points that then-FBI Director James Comey would use to brief then-President Barack Obama, implied an interference by Obama in the FBI’s investigation into Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server. Right-wing media, heavily led by Fox News, and other mainstream outlets ran with the claim, despite the fact that there was no active investigation into Clinton’s emails at the time the text message in question was sent.
Senate committee releases text between FBI officers, claim texts prove Obama personally involved in the Clinton email Investigation
TAKE A LOOK AT THIS LONG LIST OF NOISE MAKERS USING THE SAME FOX PUSHED PROPAGANDA POINTS:
www.mediamatters.org/research/2018/02/07/wsj-debunks-murdoch-fueled-conspiracy-theory-fbi-texts-and-obama/219306This crap goes on 24/7 and not just with these national sources it is endemic in local media as well. They are all getting their misinformation from Murdoch and FOX. THIS is why our country is so divided and THIS is why we have a real numbskull in office right now. Those in red states who control the electoral process are scared to death because they believe this stuff that they are willing to win at all costs which includes "fixing" elections.Even the Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal is among outlets debunking the narrative Fox News ran with all day
WSJ: Texts show FBI preparing Obama for “briefing on Russia,” not “the federal Hillary Clinton email investigation.” According to The Wall Street Journal, the text messages which have been used to suggest Obama was “meddling” in the Clinton email investigation were actually referring to briefing him about “Russia’s interference in that year’s election.” The Journal points out that the text in question “occurred just days before Mr. Obama met Russian President Vladimir Putin,” and adds, “In August and September 2016, the FBI was no longer actively investigating the Clinton matter.”
Text messages from 2016 show preparation to brief Barack Obama about Russia’s interference in that year’s election, according to associates of the FBI employees involved in the exchange, not, as a Republican senator suggested, meddling by the then-president in the federal Hillary Clinton email investigation.
[...]
In his Wednesday report, Mr. Johnson pointed to a Sept. 2, 2016, exchange in which Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page were discussing talking points for then-FBI Director James Comey to deliver to Mr. Obama.
“Potus wants to know everything we’re doing,” Ms. Page said, using the acronym for President of the United States. Mr. Johnson said the text raises questions about “the type and extent of President Obama’s personal involvement” in the Clinton investigation.
But associates of Mr. Strzok and Ms. Page said that exchange referred to the president’s wanting information on Russia election meddling, which the FBI was heavily involved in over that period. That exchange occurred just days before Mr. Obama met Russian President Vladimir Putin at a summit in China. Mr. Obama said in December 2016 that he had addressed the issue of tampering with the election process with Mr. Putin at that September meeting.
In August and September 2016, the FBI was no longer actively investigating the Clinton matter, after Mr. Comey had said that July that he was recommending no criminal charges be filed. [The Wall Street Journal, 2/7/18]
Vox: Fox News “has the timeline all wrong.” As explained by Vox, the FBI had closed the Clinton investigation by July 5, 2016, “nearly two months before Page’s supposedly explosive text” (emphasis original). According to Vox, the bureau did not “learn about the new Clinton emails” until September 28, “weeks after Page’s message to Strzok” (emphasis original). From the February 7 Vox report:
Comey closed the Clinton email investigation on July 5, 2016 — nearly two months before Page’s supposedly explosive text. On top of that, the newly revealed texts show that the FBI didn’t learn about the new Clinton emails later found on Anthony Weiner’s computer until September 28, 2016 — weeks after Page’s message to Strzok.
This means it’s actually unclear what Obama wanted to know, and not the nefarious move Fox News alleges. And it also continues the conservative campaign to discredit Mueller before his probe ends.
That invites the question: Why have the texts become such a big deal?
The answer lies perhaps in the timing of the Fox News piece, which comes just days after a Republican effort to make look Trump look good failed — and days before Trump could squash a Democratic effort that could make him look bad. [Vox, 2/7/18]

Influential Fake Twitter Account Was Run By Russians | NBC Nightly News Right-Wing Twitter Favorite Turns Out to Be a Russian Troll Account
Jenna Abrams' tweets appeared regularly on InfoWars. By Noor Al-Sibai / Raw Story
November 2, 2017, 7:34 PM GMT
Photo Credit: PiXXart / Shutterstock Jenna Abrams’ tweets were beloved, at times, by both the alt-right and the celebrity blogosphere. Now, Congressional investigators have confirmed that her Twitter account was actually run out of St. Petersburg, Russia’s infamous troll farm.
According to The Daily Beast, the “Abrams” account that initially became famous after “fixing” a nude selfie posted by Kim Kardashian was run, along with thousands of others, by the Kremlin-funded Internet Research Agency. The account, which was supposed to be run by an American blogger, soon pivoted to right-wing rhetoric, including a professed belief in segregation.
Before she became a favorite among the reactionary right-wing set, however, “Abrams’ account built up an image of a straight-talking, no-nonsense, viral-tweet-writing young American woman.” After building a following with funny takes on pop culture and feminism, “she would push divisive views on immigration, segregation and Donald Trump” in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.
Abrams’ tweets were published everywhere from InfoWars to USA Today and Sputnik to The Washington Post, and high-profile users like Roseanne Barr, Michael McFaul and even, once, Starbucks’ corporate account responded to her on Twitter. Rather than just being a standalone Twitter account, Abrams also had a personal website, a Gmail account, a Medium account and a GoFundMe page.
It was on her Medium account last fall that the Internet Research Agency, masquerading as the millennial American blogger, published an editorial titled “Why do we need to get back to segregation.”
“Humanity has gone full circle,” the Abrams account wrote. “Never mind how many activists of any color died to get rid of segregation, and fought for inclusion, black people want it back. 100 percent free people made their choice, and their choice is segregation.”
Abrams was far from the first convincing Russian troll farm account. Last month, The Daily Beast also reported that one account, which posed as a black woman, was retweeted by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

They may be Russian Trolls but they are operating just like the right wing noise machine and conservatives have NO problem with it and that seems to include President Trump. And to say that THIS didn't affect the razor thin electoral win by Trump is ludicrous. Trump only won the electoral college with 3 small states by 80,000 votes total out of over 100 million. Add something like this to voter suppression, gerrymandering and other shenanigans and you will get a razor thin win.

History Won’t Forget How Obama Was Treated
Published on Dec 29, 2016 Fascist. Communist. Socialist. Racist. These are just a few of the things President Obama has been called by conservatives since he took office in 2008. It's curious how he survived eight years of this, and history isn't going to forget it.

Obama, whatever flaws he may have had as a president, was, at the end of the day, a man of simple human decency, which neither those on the Far Right (I don't dare call these clowns "conservatives", and never will) nor, especially, Trump, will ever be.

If you listen to and read the right wing media like I do then you will know this article is an UNDERSTATEMENT what the righties are doing to these kids. There should be no doubt that conservatives are reptiles. They will eat their own if they feel threatened or if something doesn't fit their narrative. It is the conservative m.o. Parkland student protesters become right-wing targetsChristopher Wilson 5 hours ago .
In the wake of Saturday’s massive rallies calling for new gun legislation, the student survivors of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have themselves become political targets.
Republican state Rep. Mary Franson of Minnesota spent Saturday evening posting a series of messages to Facebook comparing the Stoneman Douglas students leading the Never Again movement to the Hitler Youth. Franson later deleted her account, but the City Pages Minneapolis captured screenshots of the images, which included a quote from Adolf Hitler discussing the Hitler Youth movement. Franson did not respond to a request for comment.
Franson was joined in her Hitler Youth comparison by the far-right conspiracy site InfoWars, which has repeatedly compared Saturday’s March for Our Lives to a Nazi movement. In a video posted to its verified YouTube page, InfoWars overlaid the audio of a Hitler speech and the crowd from a Nazi rally with footage of Stoneman Douglas student David Hogg’s speech on Saturday. The site — which has interviewed President Trump and Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., in the past — has also posted videos with the titles “Democrats Use Nazi Style Propaganda to Brainwash” and “Cult Minions March Against Guns in Austin Texas” over the past few days. The site also promoted the conspiracy theory that there were multiple gunmen during the Parkland shooting.
A screengrab from InfoWars portraying Stoneman Douglas student David Hogg as Hitler.
A Republican candidate for the state legislature in Maine dropped out of his race earlier this month after calling Hogg a “moron” and a “baldfaced liar” and his fellow Stoneman Douglas student and activist Emma González a “skinhead lesbian.”
On Monday, the right-wing blog Red State promoted a story that Hogg was not at Stoneman Douglas during the shooting only to follow up with a correction of that assertion that blamed a “confusing” CBS News video. Hogg was in the school during the shooting — including interviewing his classmates while they hid from the gunman — and returned later that day to talk to more of his classmates at the scene.
Even before Saturday’s rallies, the Stoneman Douglas students have been attacked by right-wing media since the Feb. 14 shooting. A number of outlets accused them of being “crisis actors,” paid performers who were never actually in danger. It’s a similar tactic that repeats itself after most mass shootings, with InfoWars host Alex Jones’s claim that the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was “completely fake” among the most notorious lies.
Over this past weekend, doctored images of González went viral, and a video of her tearing a gun target Photoshopped to make it look like she was tearing the Constitution was shared across social media. She was also targeted by the campaign of Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, for wearing the patch of a Cuban flag on her jacket. González is part Cuban and was defended by GOP Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, a Cuban native who represents South Florida.
The reaction to the march also included CNN contributor and former Republican Sen. Rick Santorum suggesting the teenagers would be better off learning CPR than marching, an idea that was rebutted by a multitude of medical professionals, who pointed out that CPR doesn’t help with the treatment of gunshot wounds. The conservative magazine National Review added its own stories to the mix, with one piece referring to the rally organizers as “Teenage Demagogues” and another questioning if Hogg was an “Oracle, or Useful Idiot?”

Seth Rich's family sues over conspiracy theories
Published on Mar 27, 2018 The parents and brother of murdered former Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich are suing right-wing activists and media companies for pushing conspiracy theories about Rich's death. CNN's Gary Tuchman reports.Brother of slain DNC staffer sues Washington Times, conservative activistsBy Avery Anapol - 03/27/18 11:47 AM EDT 102comments
Aaron Rich, the brother of Seth Rich, is suing conservative activists and media outlets for allegedly spreading conspiracy theories about the slain Democratic National Committee (DNC) staffer.
Aaron Rich filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia on Tuesday, according to CNN.
In the lawsuit, Aaron Rich names GOP donor and Fox Business guest Ed Butowsky, the Washington Times, and far-right media figure Matt Couch and his America First Media group, the network reported.
He alleges that the defendants acted with "reckless disregard for the truth" in pushing a conspiracy theory about him and his brother, it added.
Seth Rich was killed in Washington, D.C., in 2016, in what police say was a robbery gone wrong. In the aftermath of his death, unfounded conspiracy theories linked his death to the release of hacked emails from Hillary Clinton's campaign and the DNC.
Aaron Rich also alleges in the lawsuit that the defendants spread a conspiracy theory that he worked with his brother to leak the DNC emails to WikiLeaks and cover it up. "Not satisfied with the existing conspiracy theory about Seth Rich ... Defendants Ed Butowsky, Matt Couch, and America First Media have spent the past year creating and disseminating a made-up conspiracy theory that Aaron Rich was the technological know-how behind, and financial beneficiary of, Seth's operation," Aaron Rich’s attorney told CNN.
He is seeking damages for emotional distress and harm to his reputation.
Rich’s parents, Joel and Mary Rich, filed a lawsuit earlier this month against Fox News, alleging that the network and two of its guests reached out to the family under false pretenses in publishing a story that pushed the conspiracy theory about Seth Rich.

Add Sinclair Broadcasting Group (which was assumed to be Corporate Media) into the RIGHT WING NOISE MACHINE column along with FOX. There is a concerted effort among the right wing to push this PRO PUTIN PRO RUSSIA-ANTI AMERICA ANTI DEEP STATE propaganda. I have been hearing this scenario play out all over the right wing whether it be social media, UFO channels, FOX and now corporate media. If you are paying attention you can't help but notice.
How America's Largest Local TV Owner Turned Its News Anchors Into Soldiers In Trump's War On The Media Timothy Burke Saturday 3:45pm •Filed to: media
Earlier this month, CNN’s Brian Stelter broke the news that Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner or operator of nearly 200 television stations in the U.S., would be forcing its news anchors to record a promo about “the troubling trend of irresponsible, one sided news stories plaguing our country.” The script, which parrots Donald Trump’s oft-declarations of developments negative to his presidency as “fake news,” brought upheaval to newsrooms already dismayed with Sinclair’s consistent interference to bring right-wing propaganda to local television broadcasts.
You might remember Sinclair from its having been featured on John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight last year, or from its requiring in 2004 of affiliates to air anti-John Kerry propaganda, or perhaps because it’s your own local affiliate running inflammatory “Terrorism Alerts” or required editorials from former Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn, he of the famed Holocaust Remembrance Day statement that failed to mention Jewish people. (Sinclair also owns Ring of Honor wrestling, Tennis magazine, and the Tennis Channel.)
The net result of the company’s current mandate is dozens upon dozens of local news anchors looking like hostages in proof-of-life videos, trying their hardest to spit out words attacking the industry they’d chosen as a life vocation.
Not that any of it matters to Sinclair, which, with the help of a friendly federal government, is about to swallow up another 40 television stations—increasing its reach and its lead over competitors like Hearst and Scripps. The script, as transcribed by ThinkProgress based on the KOMO (Seattle) version, reads:
Hi, I’m(A) ____________, and I’m (B) _________________…
(B) Our greatest responsibility is to serve our Northwest communities. We are extremely proud of the quality, balanced journalism that KOMO News produces.
(A) But we’re concerned about the troubling trend of irresponsible, one sided news stories plaguing our country. The sharing of biased and false news has become all too common on social media.
(B) More alarming, some media outlets publish these same fake stories… stories that just aren’t true, without checking facts first.
(A) Unfortunately, some members of the media use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control ‘exactly what people think’…This is extremely dangerous to a democracy.
(B) At KOMO it’s our responsibility to pursue and report the truth. We understand Truth is neither politically ‘left nor right.’ Our commitment to factual reporting is the foundation of our credibility, now more than ever.
(A) But we are human and sometimes our reporting might fall short. If you believe our coverage is unfair please reach out to us by going to KOMOnews.com and clicking on CONTENT CONCERNS. We value your comments. We will respond back to you.
(B) We work very hard to seek the truth and strive to be fair, balanced and factual… We consider it our honor, our privilege to responsibly deliver the news every day.

Published on Apr 2, 2018 Anchors at Sinclair-owned local news station parrot a script pushing Trump talking points and “the troubling trend of irresponsible, one sided news stories plaguing our country.”
This Is Extremely Dangerous to Our Democracy Published: March 31, 2018 Source: EDITIOR, BLACKLISTED NEWS
Earlier today Newsweek reported:
The United States' largest owner of television stations, Sinclair Broadcast Group, mandated that its outlets run a segment on the so-called deep state that was produced by a former reporter for the Russian propaganda outlet RT, according to a new report.
The "must-run" piece aired on March 21 and featured Sebastian Gorka, the former adviser to President Donald Trump, lamenting the existence of a deep state—a popular conspiracy theory in some circles that longtime career public servants in the government are working to subvert the U.S. government. Trump has repeatedly complained about such a mysterious rogue network.
Now, The Inquirer reports:
Several local Pennsylvania newscasts sounded similar this week, as anchors at Sinclair Broadcast Group stations were forced to read from the same script decrying “fake stories” and “biased reporting.”
The script, which anchors at stations across the country were required to read, echoes announcements that aired last year by Scott Livingston, the vice president of news at Sinclair, which accused the national news media of publishing “fake news stories.”
